Golfing Section
The Golf section is open to all members who wish to play and enjoy golf in a social environment.
The highlight of the year is the Inter-Harpenden Probus event which normally takes place in June or July at one of the local clubs in Harpenden. It is organised on an alternate basis by one of the four Harpenden Probus Clubs.
There is also the Southern Area and Eastern Area Probus events which take place in May and July respectively. This represents an opportunity to meet and play with Probus members from other areas.
Informal 9 hole rounds are also arranged occasionally at Wheathampstead Golf Club, an ideal course for beginners and the up and coming player.
Finally an away 2 night break is normally arranged in October somewhere within a 2 hour radius of Harpenden. In 2018 and 2019 we went to Redditch.
