We arrange informal group meetings with our own members leading a discussion, normally following a short introduction by the leader. We aim to share our pet interests with other members or to discuss current affairs.

We try to agree on topics close to the time of each meeting and keep our schedule flexible so as to accommodate topical issues. While geopolitical topics are quite popular, we ensure the overall selection of topics is fairly eclectic.

The venue for all meetings is the Plough and Harrow Harpenden, and the organiser is Chris Bunton may contacted on 01582 769 543 or emailed at (click here). Members will meet for coffee at 11 am; the discussion commences at 11.15 am and will be followed by lunch at around 12:45 pm. Members’ lunch is at their own cost.
