The Probus Secundus Club is for professional and business men and women who, on retirement, may  wish to get to know more people in Harpenden.   The purpose is social and members meet regularly for lunch and a short talk on a variety of subjects

The Men's Club was formed in 1981 and the chairman is currently Tony Scott.                           

There is also a Ladies' Club.

At present there are vacancies in both clubs and anyone interested in joining is welcome to apply to the respective  Secretary.

In addition both clubs meet for organised trips and social activities from time to time and there are regular dinners three times a year, all of which are open to members' partners, whether or not they are members of the Ladies Club.

The Club also has three special interest groups, walking, informal twinning with Antwerpen-Noord Club in Belgium and golf. 

The Men's Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Harpenden Golf Club - Hammonds End, Redbourn Lane,  Harpenden, Herts at 12.00 for 12.45pm, except in December when it meets on the second Thursday.  Please click here to view the Constitution.
