Camera Club

We are hoping to form a small camera club to add to the groups we already have at Probus Secundus. Five members have expressed their interest but we would like a few more before we have an initial meeting to discuss and agree how the group will operate. This is envisaged as an ambulatory group, visiting robust photo subjects chosen by the group up to an hour or so away by car or train, eg Thame cattle market, the railway museum near Aylesbury, Kew  Gardens, etc. Visits could be followed up by a periodic indoor session to discuss the best of the pictures, a learning session and Q&As. Please either email me (paul.wakeling@ntlworld.com) or have a chat with me at the next Probus lunch.

Inaugural meeting arranged!

I would like to propose an inaugural meeting at 10.30 on 23rd January at Stockwood Park’s Garden café where we can meet in the quiet room (i.e. child free) opposite the counter. We need to discuss what we want to do and how and I will get out an agenda / discussion paper to give us a framework to think about before the meeting. Afterwards we can visit the British Wildlife Photography Award exhibition, which is free but VERY COLD – please wrap up warm.
